And now for something completely different, Swedish Alt-Country. Yes that is correct. I was going through my email and came across a promo from August 2019. Yes, I know, I’m way behind. I do keep them all though and now that I am writing (sort of) again, I am committed to catching up.
Now about the Trailerpark Idlers. They are from are from Norrkoping/Soderkoping, Sweden and formed as a group in 2006. Since then, they have released 14 albums. This tune, The Green Grass Once Again, is taken from their most recent album, Ghost Town Nights. The band lists their influences, and pretty eclectic, as Hank Williams, Chuck Berry, Gillian Welch, Bob Wills, Ramones, Johnny Cash, Nick Cave, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn, Jimmie Rodgers, Rolling Stones, Ernest Tubb. I can believe it. Interesting band, interesting music. If interested, hit the links down below to find out more.
