I have been having a Twitter conversation with Lisette Xavier, a Canadian singer-songwriter. Lisette is based in Calgary, Alberta. Her music is in the classic pop style, somewhat like a Sara Bareilles. Very strong vocals, and a mature sound. The song here is titled “The Shoe Collector”. In it, she shows a strong piano based style, quite minimalist, which highlights the vocals. Very enjoyable.
Definitely worth a second tune. Here is the video for “Dream”.
